ABOUT THE ARTIST


Michael Davidson was born and raised in Timmins Ontario.  He has a love for all things historical and has completed a series of artwork depicting sites and landmarks near his hometown. His artwork has been presented to Kenny Rogers, Shania Twain, Englebert Humperdinck, Don Cherry and Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip.

He is currently working on a series of the beautiful, timeless buildings of Western University in London Ontario. 

He lives near London Ontario with his wife Natalie and dog Guinness.

Two hours before Gord Downie and the Tragically Hip opened the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, he was presented with Michael Davidson's limited artwork.

The band's famous song 50 Mission Cap tells the story of Bill Barilko who scored the goal to win the Stanley Cup in 1951.
